Our Aussie Hat is made from 100% waxed cotton. The fabric was supplied to us by the originator and leader of the world-famous fabric, British Millerain.
They have been developing fabrics in the UK for over 140 years and have stuck by their values – to create fabrics ‘which would suit a variety of clothing requirements, from the rigours of life in the armed forces to the demands of country pursuits’.
And yes, British Millerain fabric has actually been used by troops for its durability and weatherproof capabilities.

When designing our Aussie Hat, we strive to uphold their values – creating a hat befitting all kinds of needs.
The quality waxed cotton shell ensures you are kept dry during wet weather, with the wide brim offering further protection from rain. This wide brim also doubles up as protection for your face and neck from the hot Sun. An internal padded headband soaks up any perspiration, keeping your face and eyes as dry as possible.
We’ve also made sure your hat fits firmly around your head so heavy wind doesn’t blow the hat away when walking – something common for wide-brim hats. Just be sure to accurately measure your head and check against our size guide to get the perfect fit!

The Aussie Hat has a decorative feather for added elegance. The hat includes our signature Eva Lining, which is crushable, so will return to its original shape over time. This flexibility makes it suitable to be folded away for short periods when travelling.
Despite this, we package these hats in a bubble-wrapped W&H box for full protection during delivery to you.
